Alasow Foundation

We officially transferred a donation of $10,000 to Maamo Ugaaso Foundation

Today, we officially transferred a donation of $10,000 to Maamo Ugaaso Foundation, a center dedicated to caring for vulnerable and formerly neglected children in the neighborhoods of the Banaadir Region. This contribution is specifically intended to support Iftar meals during the blessed month of Ramadan, ensuring that these children receive essential food and care at a critical time.
In addition, we delivered financial assistance today to 120 beneficiaries, including underprivileged mothers and individuals with special needs, who are supported by the Somali Women Development Center (SWDC). This donation forms part of our ongoing humanitarian efforts to assist the most vulnerable members of society, particularly during Ramadan when the need for food and basic support significantly increases.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Hormuud Salaam Foundation for their generous financial contribution that made this humanitarian support possible. Their commitment to social responsibility and community welfare plays a vital role in reaching vulnerable families and strengthening relief efforts on the ground.
This humanitarian initiative reflects the continued commitment of Alasow Foundation to supporting disadvantaged communities in Mogadishu and across Somalia, with a strong focus on vulnerable children, low-income mothers, and people with special needs.
Ramadan is a month of compassion and solidarity, and we remain dedicated to expanding our relief efforts to reach families affected by hunger, poverty, and ongoing humanitarian challenges in Somalia.
